Day 1

1.What methods, materials and processes did I use today? How effective were these?
Last week, I drew 10 items in my room. I looked at the toilet and it reminds me of black hole. To be honest, today I didn’t get any specific idea that I want to develop, what I did today is basically some random collage. I made them on my ipad, which boosts my work efficiency a lot. I just find pictures from the internet and then it's so convenient.
2. Is there potential for these works to be developed further? And if so in what way?
I don't think that these works have much potential to develop as I think they are not what I really want to cope with. It got a sense of humor, which is the part I like, but I found something more interesting. In last weekend, I bought some paint and canvas. when I got home I was so tired and when I looked at my room, it was in a mass, rubbish and clothes were anywhere. I continued looking at them and I discovered the rhythm through the chaos, so I scanned my room, and that's I would do in this week.
3. What artists would I like to research further?

I would like to do some research on Julie Mehretu. I will look at what process she takes her painting through.
